I'm the CEO and founder of Changing Lives Counseling, where I’ve dedicated my career to guiding individuals and families through healing, growth, and transformation. As a licensed marriage and family counselor, substance use and addiction specialist, and trauma therapist, I’ve built a practice rooted in compassion, connection, and resilience. I’m also the CEO and founder of Changing Lives Counseling KAP and Inside Out for Everyone, a nonprofit that funds mental health services.
Beyond my professional life, I’m deeply committed to my family and multi-generational parenting. As both a mother and grandmother, I understand the unique challenges and joys of raising the next generation while supporting the ones before it. Balancing parenting, mentoring, and professional leadership, I bring real-life wisdom into my work—helping clients navigate their own journeys of growth, responsibility, and emotional well-being.
Through Changing Lives Counseling, I blend clinical expertise with personal experience, proving that strength is found in both the challenges and the triumphs of life. Whether I’m helping families heal or guiding second-generation parenting, my work reflects a deep commitment to personal and relational transformation.

I own AZ Chimney Cakes with my mom and three sisters. Our family-owned biz is nestled among giants in Mesa Riverview, right behind Bass Pro (wink, wink). We’re a dessert café featuring a Hungarian street food known as Kürtőskalács. We also serve other homemade baked goods based on family recipes, along with a full coffee bar. We cater and have a food truck available for private events, too.
What started as a dream to open a coffee shop turned into an adventure in Chimney Cakes! Although we took over an existing business, we very much started from scratch.
I’m the oldest of the bunch and serve as Senior Sales & Marketing Manager-oh, and I’m also raising two busy boys at the same time. Owning, operating, and navigating the family dynamics has tested every skill I gained from my 20+ year corporate career. Did I mention I still have a 40-hour-a-week corporate job on top of the family biz?
Quickly establishing your priorities and operating rhythm is a huge benefit. Separating business from personal is a must, and beginning with the end in mind is crucial. We've been at this for almost a year-and no one’s been uninvited to Christmas yet!

I am a Pharmacist-turned-Perimenopause Coach. For the past 13 years, I have been helping women navigate the wild ride that is perimenopause.
I started my career as Lead Pharmacist at a top-rated compounding pharmacy specializing in hormone replacement therapy (HRT), which gave me a solid foundation in the science of hormones. But what I quickly realized is that women need so much more than another prescription. They need real support, personalized guidance, and practical solutions that actually fit into their busy lives.
Women in perimenopause are brushed off by the healthcare system. We’re told our symptoms are “normal” and that they’ll “pass” - so we try to power through. Eventually, we start to believe the lie that feeling exhausted, irritable, and disconnected from our bodies is normal.
Now, I work with women - whether they’re on HRT or not - to find natural, effective ways to balance their hormones and start feeling like themselves again. No more sleepless nights, no more frustration with our bodies. My mission is simple: help women build more strength, energy, and confidence than ever before so the second half of life feels even better than the first.
Most importantly, I’m a mom of four (two boys and two girls—ages 9, 12, 13, and 15). I love the entrepreneur/mom way of life (most days!). My kids are my biggest cheerleaders. On days when motivation feels out of reach, they’re the ones there reminding me why I started.

I’m the heart behind Rooted Success Solutions—a dynamic Online Business Management and Social Media Management company dedicated to empowering successful, growing business owners. As a devoted mama, I face the many struggles of balancing entrepreneurship with the unpredictable chaos of motherhood. Some days, it feels like I’m stretched too thin, overwhelmed by the constant juggle between business deadlines and the emotional demands of my children. Yet, in the midst of the chaos, I’m committed to building efficient systems for my clients and carving out moments of intentional living for myself. I may not have it all figured out every day, but I embrace the mess and the small victories, knowing that each challenge is shaping me into a stronger, more resilient version of myself.

I started out in hair 2008 after graduating high school and hair school, I went out into full service hair salon. Then, when the 2008 recession hit, I went into a Supercuts and worked my way up from stylist-to manager-to artistic trainer.
I was able to learn a lot and travel and work on all hair types. Then, I got back into full service salon and started renting out my own room at a "r" salon in Phoenix. I learned so much- as we had 60 stylists and all had our own way of doing hair and running business.
In 2019, I moved into my own salon suite and started the little shop of hairs. I was expecting my first child and I needed my own way of running things and scheduling. It was a great way to set up personal and professional boundaries. Then after I had my son, I only had four weeks off and I wish I gave myself more time out! You never know how your labor is going to go-and I was definitely not prepared for a fourth-degree tear!
My first day back I worked a ten-person wedding set up hair and makeup and pumped in the bathroom in between the ladies.
Then March of 2020 came, and we had to shut down as the state mandated. It was like the second Maternity leave. I got to be at home and grow with my son...see all the firsts. Of course, as a natural born hustler not being able to make income really hit me mentally hard. But, I was able to throw back my 2005 fashion merchandise classes-and I busted out my sewing machine making fabric masks. I made a lot for friends and family. When my husband's company saw his, and the custom fabrics, I made over 300 for them!
That kept me busy, but I definitely was glad when I could get back to work behind the chair. I love how good hair can make someone feel. We all know at that time mental health was hit hard -and if getting hair done could make you feel better-I was sure glad I could be the one to do that!
Now, I have moved my salon to northern Phoenix. In 2023, I had my second son. I gave myself six weeks after birth this go around - and thankful for that! I gave myself way more grace and space. I asked for help when needed- and it was a whole new world. Currently, I work two days a week, homeschool my five year old, and care for my 14 month old.
I’m so thankful for all my awesome clients and my family who helps me make this dream work!
